New Zealand Trip

International Students
On September 1, 2018 by giganickWelcome Eva and Kiano. Eva comes from France, and Kiano joins us from Australia. They will be with us long into the next year. International questionnaire
On August 31, 2018 by giganickStudent union and English club students took to the streets of “Little Edo”, or Kawagoe, to interview international tourists. Thank you to everyone we spoke to for your kindness and patience in the sultry heat.
Canada Study Trip
On August 8, 2018 by giganick20 students came back from the Canada study trip. They spent twelve days in Victoria on the west coast, enjoying the kindness of their Canadian hosts and the beauty of the city. Their English has made great progress.
America Bowl
On July 23, 2018 by giganickYamamura Kokusai raised two teams to compete in the first ever America Bowl, a quiz on American culture and history. The students performed very well against top high schools from across Japan.
Visitors

Tia from Vancouver, whose sister had been a buddy for our students when visiting Canada, joined our Tokushin B course students, who were thrilled to get to know her. English Conversation Room

English camp at British Hills
On January 3, 2018 by giganickThis year 21 students went to snowy British Hills for the Christmas study trip. In two classes, they participated in the all English experience. They stayed two nights in the beautiful atmosphere of Drake House. They were taught ballroom dancing, snooker, calligraphy, and cookery by the British teachers.
Speech and Recitation Contest
On December 6, 2017 by giganickOn the last Saturday of October, Yamamura Kokusai students gathered for the speech and recitation contest. There were six finalists in the recitation contest, which had begun in September with every first year student participating in the class stage.
