Graduation Ceremony
On March 2, 2021 by giganickWe bid a fond farewell to our third year students today. The hall decked in congratulatory colours, red and white, the third years paid their last official visit to Yamamura Kokusai High School.
Grateful for the mindful restraint everyone has shown in keeping the pandemic from impeding our education, we decided to go ahead with the ceremony. To avoid crowding, the third year body was split in two, with ,opening and afternoon ceremonies, carers were restricted to one person per student and the seats well spaced. The songs were played over speakers, students accepted their appellation with bows rather than calls, and the ceremony was shortened. There were no celebratory gatherings.
However, the atmosphere was positive, the students mature and responsible, and pleased that this year, the ceremony could go ahead.
Congratulations.
