Light Music Club- 14th High School Light Music Contest

On Sunday, July 21st, two bands from the light music club seRECT and Stellar teal participated in the 14th High School Light Music Contest Qualifier sponsored by the Saitama High School Light Music Federation.

This contest is said to be the last official tournament of the third graders, so it is a very high level tournament. In addition, the Kawagoe South Venue is a preliminary tournament where high schools in the western area gather. It is also the district where regular schools advance to the finals. Last year, Tokorozawa High School, which is in the same district, won and advanced to the national tournament, making this area high competitive. Our school`s light music club desperately wants to breakthrough during the tournament.

The two bands that participated were very impressive in this tournament where many third year bands participated. Our members showed the results of their daily practice, they played hard while also having fun.

Unfortunately, the bands did not advance to the finals. They will now focus on participating in a Newcomer Tournament on November 11th.

The light music club will continue to work hard on daily practice for various competitions, performances at various events, joint live performances, and pursue music that everyone can enjoy listening to.
