America Bowl

Tsukuba Science Edge
On March 24, 2018 by giganickSix members of the Yamamura Kokusai High School biology club participated in this years high school science exposition at Tsukuba International Conference Hall, attended by high schools across Japan and the World. A third year student presented his research into the antibacterial effects of wasabi on the food poisoning bacteria in sashimi in English. The
Entrance Examinations

Music Station Dance Video
On January 14, 2018 by giganickYamamura Kokusai dance club featured in a two hour special episode of Music Station, Asahi TV’s major music show, hosted by Mr Tamori. YK dance club put together a special video for the high ranked music group Wanima. The band members generously said that they wished they had the video for their official version. Article
English Conversation Room

English camp at British Hills
On January 3, 2018 by giganickThis year 21 students went to snowy British Hills for the Christmas study trip. In two classes, they participated in the all English experience. They stayed two nights in the beautiful atmosphere of Drake House. They were taught ballroom dancing, snooker, calligraphy, and cookery by the British teachers.
Speech and Recitation Contest
On December 6, 2017 by giganickOn the last Saturday of October, Yamamura Kokusai students gathered for the speech and recitation contest. There were six finalists in the recitation contest, which had begun in September with every first year student participating in the class stage. The finalists read snippets of children’s stories, including Eric Carle, Roald Dahl and Sendak. The level
