“To Make Dreams Come True” (Lecture)

On Saturday, December 21st, Yamamurakokusai High School held a lecture by Mr. Yamazaki, an alumni of our school`s baseball club and a Japanese national para player (javelin thrower).

Mr. Yamazaki, who has experienced success despite being born with a disability by not giving up his dreams and goals, but by being creative and working hard. He started playing playing in elementary school and faced many challenges and eventually switched from baseball to the javelin throw after high school. He was able to participate in not only the most recent Paris Olympics but also the Tokyo Olympics.

The students all listened to his lecture about his experience and advice on “the efforts to achieve your goals will one day bear fruit.”

We look forward to further efforts and the development of all the students who listened to the lecture this time.
